Piccinini studio space is equal parts sci-fi fantasy, aircraft hanger and the covered football pitch from Matthew Barney's Cremaster: glossy, pristine, libidinal.
Haven't thought out the Duchamp studio space in as much depth, but I want to suggest a mix between a Soviet interrogation complex and a perverse Magritte fantasy: the liminal horror of the banal, a paranoiac's nightmare.
